I’ve been a bit quiet here recently. Normal life has been getting in the way of writing anything – just as it should, really. First, I decided I needed to do a bit of reading to reduce my book stack a little, next grandfather duties have intervened and then, of course, the 2025 trout fishing season has been underway since April 1st so many days have been spent by or in some of England’s glorious chalk streams.
One day last week, while sitting on the banks of one of my favourite rivers munching a lunch sandwich under a chem-trail-free sky, I was watching a trout rise and trying to spot what it was eating. Normally when fishing, I banish all thoughts of the globalist shit-show we have to deal with these days but, on this occasion, since it was cooler than normal for May, my mind wandered back to the post on the Modern Grand Solar Minimum (MGSM) I had written in February. Something was nagging at me about it.
Given that the MGSM will be upon us in six years or so I thought how utterly stupid it is that our Fabian Society Government of Clowns has announced that it is to fund a quango called The Advanced Research and Invention Agency (Aria) in its proposed trials involving techniques for dimming the Sun to ‘combat’ global warming aka ‘climate change’. What it was really doing was bringing into the open and legitimising what it has been up to quietly for some while and that is arranging the spraying of our skies with noxious, toxic substances. The science editor at the Daily Telegraph took up the story and shone a light on Aria in this recent piece on the newspaper’s website. At least ‘chemtrails’ are now going mainstream.
These are just ‘trials’ at this stage but let’s be under no illusions, they will be a success. So successful will they be that the ineffable goofball Miliband will ‘roll the measures out’ all over the nation believing that they really will be able to reduce average temperatures over the United Kingdom.
First, they entice farmers to take land out of production, then they persuade them to cover said land with solar panels. Solar panels which can only be of marginal use on a group of islands lying between 50º North and 61º North on the Eastern side of the Atlantic Ocean; islands which are subject to travelling depressions which have had long sea tracks; islands which have, at best, 8 hours of daylight in the depth of winter in the South and much less in the North. Then to top it all, they propose to try to block out the Sun.
You really couldn’t make it up, could you? It has to be a hoax. They’re winding us up just to see how gullible the majority of us are. If I were Nigel Farage, the leader of Reform UK, given that the latest opinion poll puts Reform on 33%, 13% ahead of Labour, I would be putting down a marker. Were there to be a General Election tomorrow, Reform would be the next government with a large overall majority in the House of Commons. If I were Nigel, I would state quite clearly that on day one of my coming into office, this will all be stopped and Aria will be one of the first Quangos up for the chop.
But that wasn’t really what was niggling me, more of a distraction. When I got home that evening, I went to Substack to look again at that Modern Grand Solar Minimum article, and I came to this passage:
But there’s another way of looking at this. Given that Solargsm.com is there for all who are interested to see, the UN and the current UK regime DO know what is coming but they are not planning to do anything about it in advance. We know that very many of the denizens of the UN and the WEF have a Malthusian bent and that they have already used the faked public health crisis of 2020-2023 to cull numbers of the weak and elderly. It is not beyond the bounds of probability that they are planning to let the worst happen in order to see off many of us again. Nothing else will kill for them quite like wars, cold and hunger. It gives them the plausible deniability they need.
Realisation dawned. How did I not see it before? Of course they know. How could they not? They (the UN/WEF cabal) ARE planning to do something about it in advance. Why would they come up with Agenda 2030 with all 17 so-called Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be in place by 2030, just in time for the MGSM to kick the door down in 2031 or thereabouts? The MGSM is what Agenda 2030 is all about. They may not have incorporated the work of Valentina Zharkova and her colleagues in the IPCC reports, but they know about it alright.
I remembered reading at one point that there was a rough correlation between sunspot activity and the performance of national economies and stock markets. I did a search and - bingo, there it was, in a newsletter called Jstor, the non-profit library for the intellectually curious, in November 2020.
William Henry Jevons was one of the forgotten fathers of modern economics and, in a way, of astronomy. A brilliant statistician and philosopher, Jevons, who lived in Victorian England, pioneered early theories of resource depletion and macroeconomics. In the late 1870s, Jevons amassed a wealth of data suggesting a connection between a decline in sunspots, of all things, and an increase in crop failures, leading to a market downturn. Jevons traced this correlation back to the infamous South Sea Bubble of 1720, the first major financial crash of a modern stock market.
People continued to take an interest in the effects solar activity would have on economics and the environment through the 20th Century as astrophysicists and earth scientists came together. By the early 21st Century governments were taking ‘space weather’ seriously.
In 2011, the UK added “extreme space weather events” to its National Risk Assessment, alongside terrorism, global warming, and pandemics. Based on findings suggesting that solar superstorms could destroy critical satellite and electrical grid infrastructure, and disturb GPS, high-frequency communications, and terrestrial broadcasting, the Royal Academy of Engineering lobbied in 2013 for the creation of a Space Weather Board to monitor and forecast solar activity. In 2015, the U.S. National Security Council’s interagency SWORM Task Force (Space Weather Operations, Research and Mitigation) released a National Space Weather Strategy. In October 2016, President Obama signed Executive Order 13744, which ties solar forecasting to the nation’s security.
Research continues to build better models of sunspot activity, and to understand its effects on seemingly unrelated aspects of our environment and economy. Traditionally terrestrial topics, like fluctuations in seasonal rainfall, have been correlated to the rhythm of sunspot cycles. Judith Lean of the Naval Research Laboratory’s Sun-Earth System Research anticipates increasing public attention on how solar activity affects our everyday lives. Ultimately, with the vulnerability of critical infrastructure powering the world’s economies, Lean expects that space weather forecasting “will ultimately blend seamlessly with that of meteorological weather.”
But solar cycles have no effect on climate. Yeah, right. So, why is there a correlation between sunspots and a bit of market turmoil? What about other grand solar minima, the Maunder Minimum (1645-1715) and the Dalton Minimum (1790-1830)? The South Sea Bubble (1720) didn’t exactly coincide with the Maunder. It mirrored the earlier ‘Tulip Mania’ crash of 1637 which occurred before the Maunder Minimum set in. However, the Battle of Waterloo (1815) in the aftermath of which Nathan Mayer Rothschild made his fortune on the London Stock exchange, occurred in the middle of the Dalton Minimum. In the following year, 1816, the "Year Without a Summer", the eruption of Mount Tambora in Indonesia sent large amounts of ash and debris into the atmosphere, causing a global cooling effect and widespread crop failures with resultant food shortages. This chimes with Valentina Zharkova’s warnings about increased volcanic activity during Solar Cycle 26 when the Sun’s magnetic polarity is expected to reverse.
There is little attention paid to the grand solar minima in the various academic papers I glanced at. They simply examined market fluctuations in relation to sunspot activity. The researchers concerned themselves with the observed numbers of sunspots and while they generally noted that there is a correlation, they could not deduce causation.
Be that as it may, the World Economic Forum is stuffed with central bankers, and we can be sure that they and their armies of subordinates and researchers will have poured over all the publications there have been on this topic. Whether low sunspot activity causes market crashes or not they will be expecting one or more. They will be aware too that solar minimums have in the past caused crop yield reductions and failures leading to food shortages in some parts of the world.
It’s at this point that we must understand that central banks control governments and not the other way around. The incomparable Elizabeth Nickson who writes the Substack Welcome to Absurdistan makes it absolutely clear in this recent excellent piece. So, there is no democratic control over the monetary policies of Western governments. Bankers control them and, through their bought politicians - puppeticians – they control the governments. What they are coming for next is control of fiscal policy. Imagine that. Tax policies dictated to governments by central bankers. If they are successful, it will be very close to ‘game over’ for the rest of us.
In Britain, Professor David Betz has recently been doing the rounds of all the alternative media podcasts such as the New Culture Forum talking about a forthcoming civil war in Britain and what form it might take. He says the conditions which could lead to serious civil unrest or revolt are in place and it has been exciting quite a lot of people, especially those in the so-called ‘online right’. Betz is the Professor of War in the Modern World at King’s College in London. He was (is) a government adviser and a lot of people listen to what he has to say. Rather than simply stirring the porridge, could it be that Betz is doing someone’s bidding and is being told what to say by the UK’s security services? It would provide the excuse for the UK government to come down hard on the native population if the unrest that he is warning about comes to pass. It would also provide the perfect excuse, coupled with the unbridled mass migration of foreign military-age men, for the UK government to mandate the digital ID that the former Prime Minister Tony Blair never shuts up about, yapping away like the Soros, Gates and Ellison lapdog that he is.
Once Blair’s digital ID is in place, the stage is set for the imposition of Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) the use of which we are told will be voluntary. We are also told that CBDC will not be programmable. If you believe that, well, as the cliché goes, I’ve got a bridge to sell you. The whole idea of CBDCs is that they are both compulsory and programmable so that you can only spend your digital credits within a certain jurisdiction, within a certain time frame and on certain items. Once you have bought your energy allocation, for example, you will be able to buy no more within a given period. Neither will you be able to save digital credits; they will expire. You will have enough for your existence in an impoverished, controlled, immiserated life but no more. Once CBDCs are allowed to be brought in, the doors of our digital prison will have been slammed shut. People will then see what ‘lockdown’ really means.
We would do well to remind ourselves of the sort of people who are behind this. At the top of the international banking cartel sits the Bank for International Settlements (BiS) in Basle, Switzerland. It is the central bank of central banks and is owned by some 58 central banks around the world, chief among them being the US Federal Reserve system and the Bank of England. There are only two things we need to know about the BiS: It has sovereign immunity and is therefore above the law, any law; it can move money around the world in absolute secrecy. Atop the BiS sits the corpulent figure of its General Manager Augustin Carstens. Take a look at him.
"In cash we don't know who is using a $100 bill today. We don't know who is using a 1000 peso bill today"
"A key difference with the CBDC is that the central bank will have absolute control on the rules and regulations that will determine the use of that expression of central bank liability. And also, we will have the technology to enforce that."
Did you get that? Your $100 bill or £50 note is not your store of value for labour traded, not your medium of exchange or fungible asset. He thinks it’s the bank’s liability as well he might, given that banks generally hold in reserve only 10% of the amount they have lent out. Such is the nature of the fraud that is fractional reserve banking. He’s positively salivating at the prospect of being able to control you and me through CBDC. Goodbye financial privacy, farewell slipping a £10 note to a beloved grandchild, farewell even to savings.
Now, back to the central bankers’ main tool - anthropogenic global warming (aka climate change). The propaganda has almost reached fever pitch, such is its ubiquity now. It is a ‘crisis’ and it is causing extreme weather we are told, despite the fact that any warming would take place in the middle and polar latitudes and not the tropical latitudes. This would reduce the equator to pole temperature gradient which would actually promote the amelioration of weather were it to happen. Nonetheless we must reduce our CO2 output to limit the temperature rise. That means reducing car use and air travel, getting rid of heating systems that use so-called ‘fossil’ fuels, giving up eating meat and dairy products and instead subsisting on plant-based foods and insect protein. We also need to stop buying so many clothes and updating our electronic devices to stay abreast of the supposed advances.
This is given substance in the horrendous C40 cities organisation, founded in 2005, and currently chaired by that evil little man Sadiq Khan whom we have the misfortune to endure as Mayor of Greater London. As well as keeping their citizens to within 15 minutes of their allocated veal crates, the aims of these mayors within their bailiwicks include the limiting of short haul air travel to one return flight per person every two years, the abolition of private motor vehicles, the complete banning of meat and dairy products and the limiting of new items of clothing to three per year per person.
They want all this in place by 2030 because, when the MGSM gets properly underway we are going to have some serious economic disruption. Trade will slow down and there are going to be food shortages and power cuts. People will go cold and hungry. They may not have sufficient warm clothing for the deep winters which lie ahead. There will be deaths. With the control grid they think they will have constructed by then they will be able to lock us down, allocate energy and food and deprive those who are ‘not in need’ or deemed to be ‘useless eaters.’ Priority will be given to selected groups of ‘key workers’ and people with protected characteristics because, being non-indigenous, they will be deemed not to know how to survive in prolonged cold weather. We will have had the assisted killing bills turned into legislation so you can see what will happen to a lot of the ill, weak and elderly. You can see it now in the forthcoming severe winters of the MGSM. Since my wife and I will be in our 80’s through the 2030s if God wills it, I have more than a little concern here.
At least, that is what I think they were hoping would be the way things will go, but all is not well in their world. There is some panic over in the hubristically named Goals House in Davos. The UN/WEF are falling behind in the implementation of their SDGs and there is even a chance that they will not have any achieved by 2030. With the rise of populist (democratic) parties full of awake people, political opposition is growing fast. More good news came to my attention this week in this latest post from Elizabeth Nickson Agenda 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals Are On the Way to the Slaughterhouse in which she informs us that the US has backed out of Agenda 2030, its SDGs and all that is implied by them. There will be no more funding which means that the UN has only six months of funding left and may be facing an existential crisis. I do hope so. The Economist, largely owned by the globalist Agnelli family and the Rothschilds, informs us that both America and China are pushing it to the brink of financial collapse. By not mentioning the MGSM in its climate propaganda, the UN/WEF political complex had hoped to keep it under the radar so that they could exploit it for all they were worth once they had their Agenda 2030 SDGs set in concrete. I don’t think it’s going to happen the way they foresaw. That doesn’t mean we don’t need to be prepared for it. We assuredly do but, thankfully, there will be enough people who have rumbled their game so that it does not turn out to be the Great Cull they were hoping for.
